My husband was referred to ED at University Hospital Wishaw by NHS24 on Saturday evening. He was admitted to ECU and then transferred to ward 5. His reason for admission was a possible GI bleed. My husband received excellent care from the nurses and doctors in ward 5 and from all staff when he attended for OGD including porters. We would like to thank the SCN and nurses and Dr Aktar and his team for their care during his admission and for keeping us as a family informed of his treatment plan and progress. Staff were very professional and kind.
