"Dye Test on 1 North"

I am on 1 North as I have recently found out I have Heart Failure. This has been challenging to learn but the positive of this is that it is very manageable with medication I have been told. I have been on 1 North for 2 weeks now and everything has been brilliant. I was waiting 2 weeks for a 'Dye Test' but thankfully received this yesterday. I am happy about completing this test as it was the single thing holding up starting my medication, so hopefully all is okay to commence that soon. The one complaint I would say is the heat on this ward can be rather bad at times, especially when you are trying to sleep at night and you feel like everything is sticking to you. I know other patients in here have said the same thing to me and it would be great if they could look into placing some fans around the ward so everyone could benefit from some cool air. Even the staff members working hard could also benefit from this in this environment. However, all the staff have been lovely and so helpful and overall the care I have received has been good and I am content.
