"Routine smear test"

I’d like to say thank you to Bridget (specialist nurse) at West Farm Surgery, Longbenton Newcastle! I’m 56 years old and I had the first pain free and discomfort free smear test “ever” this morning! It was completed within seconds!  

Bridget's supportive manner and chat put me more at ease! There was no grinding of an instrument and she had completed the procedure before I had thought she’d even started!! I was so gob smacked, I was in disbelief when she indicated it was completed within seconds. I informed Bridget how delighted I was and explained that was the first time I have ever felt pain free and at ease, I’d like to say that she definitely understands this procedure and has learned to offer it with such a delicate care and pain free experience, which will hopefully only encourage more women to “relax” about going for a smear! I will be telling the many women I work with to go have their smear without fear from Bridget at West Farm surgery! Thank you Bridget for your professional expertise!!
