I worked in Stepping Hill for many years, until 2007, and the standards of cleanliness are appalling. Ward toilets are filthy, bed areas are not clean, and the attitude of many of the nursing staff is quite poor.
I think that many aspects of Stepping Hill would not look out of place in some third world country !
