- on transfer to ward 22 given an egg sandwich and yogurt - mother does not eat either but was told thats all there is! was left from lunchtime to following day breakfast hungry.
- did not have pressure areas checked during 7 days in hospital what happened to BEST SHOTS? thought all patients were supposed to be checked at least twice over 24 hour period
- No offer of communication with family irrespective of being alone with no contact with family allowed phyically because of CV19.
- No contact at all with outside world - no TV, radio, dayroom
- Bed curtains all torn and ripped.
-left my mother sobbing on return home a she could not get over the experience.
I recently retired 18 months working as a nurse for over 43 years am absolute disgusted with the lack of care, compassion and nursing care not given to my 90year old vulnerable mother. No patient should experience what she has had to endure and I expect a response from this comment.
"No patient should experience what my mother did"
