I was brought into Craigavon area hospital 3 weeks ago for a day procedure and then the medical team decided to do another procedure that I was on the waiting list for which resulted in an extended stay. The care I have received from the staff is 11/10, they have been fantastic and the food has been great. The only downfall I have is that there are no bathroom mirrors available for washing or shaving, no shelves and no hooks for hanging clothes up so they don't get wet when washing. It feels unhygienic leaving stuff on top of a bin when a simple shelf could be made. When you have a chronic illness like myself you want to feel better about yourself by having a wash or shave and looking better, but I can't see myself looking better so I mentally don't feel better. I understand there may be safety reasons for this but if there were other options it would make a huge difference.
"My time in 1 south with fantastic patient care"
