About: Older People’s Services / Hospital at Home Northern Sector Older people's healthcare / Ward 42

(as a relative),

Thank you to the Acute care at home team who looked after my mother during covid. She was very nervous as we were all at the thought of being admitted to hospital in the middle of a pandemic was not something  we were prepared  for. She received wonderful care in ward 42 and being looked after at home now with the community  team  has been wonderful. MORE TEAMS LIKE THIS SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE

During this time of The Covid Pandemic it is a very stressful time for Patients and Families. Being unwell at this time is very scary. If Acute Care At Home Team has helped during this time then I am very glad.

Home is the best place to be looked after when possible. Sometimes however hospitalisation is necessary.

I am aware of the very good work that Ward 42 do. I am very happy that between our both teams your experience was so positive. I will relate your compliments to the staff.
