"Rather a waste of time"

Could not have fields test at original eye appt as machine broken. Eventually given second appt. Not very local surgery to my home. Appt was on time. Test completed. Was asked for my eye prescription but was not told to take it when the appt was made. Went to see consultant. Said fields test was not good not bad. Looked in my eyes Could offer no reason for fields results not being totally satisfactory. Seemed exhausted himself. Head in hands. Eventually said perhaps we should see you in 6 months. Have now made private appt with my own optician to get a sight test and my glasses checked as l am now worried in case there is a problem with my sight.
