"Help for patients that cannot access online "

About: Woodlands Surgery

I am an unpaid carer for my brother, who has an speech impairment, he relays on others to book his appointments, who has no knowledge/laptop regarding internet access,

But doctors appointments are made this way! Only emergency appointments buy phone! Then you will get an over the phone appointment, so how does this service work for many who are the same as my brother??

Please can these patients have another System, for booking appointments, as we are going to have patients suffering with all kinds of ailments!

The receptionist was understanding regarding this, but this seemed the only answer!! As I wasn’t the only person complaining about the new service, please can you revise the above!

Apologies for the inconvenience. We encourage patients to use the website to contact surgery. This is easy access to surgery and 24/7. This will reduce the waiting time for the patients who want to contact surgery urgently. We offer the appointment through phone calls as well for patients who has no internet access.

If you need any further help please contact surgery and speak to Lead Receptionist. We are happy to help your brother.

We will modify the telephone message soon and thank you for your feedback.
