"Exceptional care"

I was having a small operation on Tuesday. From admission to going home, the care, efficiency and professionalism was outstanding.

Having been in a few different hospitals over the last year, Saint Johns hospital has stood out. 

I was greeted with a Good Morning and pleasant conversation on arrival, caring, kind nursing staff who put me at ease. I was in a side room, which was clean and well decorated. I felt I knew what was going on at every stage. The professionalism carried on with visits from surgeons and anethnetist. From there to the theatre and after, caring, kind interested staff were there. 

Every staff member on that day was so obviously in the right job... What a different experience to others I've had. 

Thank you to all the staff working in the day surgical unit.. What a difference you make. 

Although I didn't want to spend my birthday in hospital, it opened my eyes to how I believe a very well run unit should be.
