I attended Grantham hospital, Ward 2 to have my gallbladder removed and I was rather anxious. However what I considered a rather traumatic experience was made not so traumatic. This was due to all staff at the hospital from the tea/coffee ladies, cleaners, nurses, our lovely room nurse who was in charge of us ladies, doctors, the man who helped us in the entrance area on our arrival (welcoming patients was not his paid job role), the surgery nurses where very pleasant conversations were carried out, the surgeon and anaesthetists. If I had paid for this service and care I would not have received a different service and care. What a wonder team of individuals you are, you really put your patients at ease by your respectfulness and constant flow of communication. I was overwhelmed by your loveliness, thank you all so much.
