"Extremely grateful"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

I've needed both cataract surgery and vitrectomy on both eyes to save my sight.

The treatment has been quite excellent, and I'm full of admiration for the skills and dedication of everyone who has been involved in my care. Even in the teeth of a pandemic, they somehow managed to get my surgery scheduled and carried out in a very safe manner.

I'm happy to say that my problems have been sorted out, and I've been referred to my local opthalmology department for ongoing routine monitoring.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped me and given me my life back after several trying years.
