A huge Thankyou to everyone involved in my care during my recent admission to hospital for chest pain and palpitations .I owe a debt of gratitude to the paramedics who responded so quickly, who constantly reassured me and treated me so well and the staff in A&E were amazing, I was seen promptly despite the area being extremely busy .I was transferred to AMU where I received excellent care from everyone .After 2 days I was transferred to C16 as there were no beds available on Cardiology, again I received wonderful care for the next 4 days .Everyone I met was polite, very kind ,caring and professional. All areas were extremely busy at all times, all staff were friendly, really worked well as a team, throughout long shifts a reassuring smile and a few laughs went a long way and I felt safe in their care. I retired from the NHS 8 years ago having worked as a midwife for 40 years and I know how tiring long shifts can be but nothing compares to the exhaustion of working through a pandemic. A huge well done to everyone, I am grateful and thankful and really do appreciate all that you have done for me. I have recently been to see a cardiologist at Cannock Chase Hospital and the care I received was wonderful.
Thankyou and God Bless you all.
