"Terrible and dissapointing"

About: New Ottershaw Surgery

Waited outside the surgery for 20 mins i could hear all the staff out of the back of the surgery chatting and laughing one of the doctors even walked past me and no one came to see if i had an appt. I rang the bell and i could hear the staff asking if i had got the correct surgery for my appt i was extremely disappointed there were no other patients there and i was made to feel as i f i was a bit of a nuisance interrupting their lunch . i had an appt and they didn't even seem to care. The attitude was lets get rid of this person as soon as we can so that we can get back to our break!!!! just terrible !! a totally unsatisfactory outcome !!!!!!!

Dear Mr Fleming,

I apologise for your unsatisfactory visit to the surgery.

There is a notice on the front door asking patients to use the intercom as soon as they arrive, to inform reception that you have arrived so they can mark you in. Once checked in you have the choice to wait in the waiting room or outside, where the clinician you are seeing will collect you from.

Reception staff do not have their lunch on site and we are always open, so please don't ever feel like you are being a nuisance. Reception are there to help the patients and they will do so as soon as patients make themselves aware to reception as having arrived.

Thank you for your feedback and we hope that you don't have the same experience again.
