I needed a COVID-19 swab test for a forthcoming procedure and letter came through the post requesting I attend the NDDH at a designated area for this to be done.
We drove to the hospital and directed off a spur road to the isolated designated area where we stayed sat in the car and awaited for a nurse to appear from the shed which was near enough immediate.
Came around to my side of car and I wound down window and gave my details as asked. Disappeared back into shed to check details and came back with instruments needed for the swab test. Asked how my health was and then proceeded to run through the test as this was my first time. All done in no time at all, Jane was very cheerful, kind and helpful.
Very happy with the service and would definitely have no problem with attending again if it becomes necessary.
No problem with isolating a few days as already been shopping etc. , and don’t find as much pleasure with crowds nowadays anyway.
From my point of view the service was spot on, from the person dealing with us in our cars, I would hope that they would get shelter if it’s pouring with rain!
Ensure these extremely hardworking frontline workers get a decent pay packet.
"The service was spot on"
