"Covid"

About: Halton Integrated Recovery Service

(as a service user),

I would like the face masks to be kept worn by all service users and the staff just for some time longer, we need to protect each other! ! and then it can maybe review it every so often.

It would make me feel more protected and safer coming in to CGL to see my key worker and then if you dont want to wear one then you have will have to stay outside.

I think by lifting the lockdown rules this way, this early is very silly.

But we can help to keep ourselves and each other.

Thank your for taking the time to read though my request.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and suggestions, it is always helpful for us to hear how safe you are feeling and how we can improve that. I'd like to reassure you that we continue to wear masks in the building and ask any visitors to do the same. You will appreciate some people are exempt and so you may see someone without a mask. If you are ever concerned about your safety being around someone who can't wear a mask please speak to a member of staff and we will do whatever we can to keep everyone safe.

We do a lot of work behind the scenes to keep everyone safe as well.

We continue to social distance in the office and work in bubbles as extra precautions and staff are offered home test kits and testing in the office three times a week. We encourage everyone who can to take up the covid vaccination offer. Staff offices are limited in size and everyone has their own desk. High touch points are cleaned throughout the day and each night are cleaned by our cleaners. All staff have hand sanitizer and it is located throughout the building.

We risk assess all activities taking place with service users, from a drop in for needle supplies up to a group session. Each time we see someone we have planned as much as we can to reduce the risks. For this reason all group sessions are limited, we are operating an appointment system, we continue to work virtually on a daily basis and you will be screened when you come to the building to ensure you have no symptoms.

I hope that the above has offered you some reassurance but if you would like more information about how we keep you safe please contact me. We will continue to review how we work not only on government guidance but also on what is happening locally. If you would like to bring a service user voice to that work please get in touch, I would be happy to include you and value your insight.
