"My visit to the urology clinic"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Urology

(as the patient),

One member of staff was perfectly nice as one would hope and expect. Another I found to be hostile, dismissive and somewhat rude and abupt. They were the same in prior telephone consultation. After travelling 45 miles and not feeling well on the day, I was hoping to discuss my medical issues with the Urologist Instead, I really didn't expect to encounter this attitude and such hostility. I came away quite angry and shell shocked. Not used to such discourtesy. Another member of staff just mumbled and said nothing when I asked a question. Three staff. One very nice. One completely abrupt and rude. One who was just ignorant. I came in seeking help and advice, and the overall tone was there is the door. I have never had such reason or been driven to comment ever.. before today.

I am sorry to hear of your experience with the nurse urology team and I appreciate that you have taken time to send this. There are a number of concerns that I am taking from your feedback and I would like to check and make sure that you have a plan in place for your care with urology. It would be really helpful if you can get in touch me either through care opinion or contacting myself directly 01382660111 ext 35138
