"First rate start to finish"

About: Poole Hospital

Painful ankle injury - diverted to the Urgent Treatment Centre as A&E not open presently. Thorough and timely assessment including X-ray. All staff couldn't have been more helpful or considerate - offering to carry my bag, wheel me to X-ray themselves, someone staying after their shift to see me with results and give helpful verbal and written information. A** everyone - thank you so much!

Dear Anonymous

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and we are pleased to hear it was positive despite the detour to a different department due to the current building works being undertaken on site.

It is lovely to hear how the staff all went the extra mile to make your visit as good as it could be while investigating your painful ankle (which we hope is feeling much better now).

To have some of the stress relieved by having someone care for your belongings and personally transport you to other departments and then have continuity of feedback from staff staying after their shift to update you shows a level of care, commitment and dedication our Trust can feel proud of and we thank you for highlighting this.

Your kind feedback will be sent to the Matron to share with the rest of his team.

Regards

Patient Experience Team
