About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a service user),

My relative was in AMU last month. The sister and staff kept me informed and even though the restrictions were difficult I felt confident that he was in a safe place. Thank you so much he is at home now and District Nurses  looking after him well 😊

I am delighted to hear that your relative is at home now and continues to improve.

I appreciate how difficult the current visiting restrictions are for relatives during the current Covid-19 pandemic, and I am so glad to hear that the staff in AMU kept you updated and you trusted that your relative was being cared for in safe place.

I will be sure to pass on this feedback to the team whom will be given a much needed boost from this.
