"Appalling service"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

Attended A&E with a suspected broken wrist (unable to move it, swollen, pain).

After 4 .5 hrs wait was told "it doesn't look broken, we won't xray it. If it doesn't get better in a week or two, came back and we'll x-ray it then".

Wouldn't take a pet to be treated there.

I am very sorry to hear about your wrist and the experience you had when you attended A&E.

Please may I ask that you get in touch with my department on 01942 822376 to enable us to discuss this further with you.

Kind Regards

Emma Swift

Deputy to Patient Relations Manager
