"Excellent compassionate care"

I required support from Hannage Brook practice in February 2021 at a time when the team were incredibly busy and no doubt under huge pressures. I was given excellent care from the whole team including reception staff. The culture is one of compassion and caring. I am unable to name specific staff under the guidelines for this review function which is a shame, as one of the younger female doctors I feel is exceptional and just so caring. The staff made me feel calmer, and safe at a time when I was really quite worried. On a previous occasion in the pandemic I needed to physically access the surgery and this was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was made to feel very relaxed and all the staff were bright and cheerful, again at a time when no doubt they were under huge strain. I really do appreciate them going out of their way to make people feel comfortable and cared for. Also worthy of mention are the efforts that another doctor has taken to communicate concisely, openly and frequently with local people regarding the vaccine rollout via social media. These updates have been excellent and very welcomed. The surgery is a real asset to our community and I thank the staff wholeheartedly for all they have done in these difficult times. We are so lucky to have you.
