About: Kettering General Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

In Kettering general hospital maternity wards toilets, they was dirty and dangerous, due to other patients blood left on the floor and on the sink. Khg maternity staff was told about the blood in the toilets continuously to no avail, they didn't listen to me, that's typical. The toilets were disgusting discuand I am totally disgusted with their attitudes towards me and cleaning.

We are very sorry to hear of your experience, it is always our intention to maintain high cleaning standards. Our cleaning management team come to the ward each month to audit the quality of the cleaning, we can only apologise that on this occasion it did not meet yours or our standards. We will be forwarding this to the Ward Manager who will communicate with both the ward and cleaning staff of your concerns. We will also inform the ward manager of your concerns regarding staff attitude as this again is not acceptable. Thank you for your feedback.
