"It was a nightmare 😢"

What I am gonna say is the harsh realty of this practice.please read it, Actually my small girl got flu from her school 3 weeks back so I was in touch with gp and nhs. Apart from giving her all medicine i.e calpol, cough syrup it wasn't any improvement so was worried for her as we all know covid is here wid us. Being a mom it's not easy for any mother to see her child suffering so yes whenever i called gp they said it's emergency case u need to call nhs and then nhs after doing assessment they said no it's not covid just keep contact wid gp so I was so frustrated during those days. Luckyly one doctor from nhs was so nice and polite she referred me to go to nhs and asked that my girl should be checked by some doctor as she might has some infection. So same day I went nhs and they were busy asked me to come next day and then next day my husband went with my girl to nhs as I had worked and their the lady nhs doc give her some antibiotics and she was very nice as my husband said. I was happy that she was finally seen by doc. But in the meantime even I got some flu symptoms so I even contact wid gp. And after few days I became fine on my own as they didn't have appointment for next few days. So yesterday I had my some test from gp so they called me and I went their after taking day off from work. When I was in waiting area one lady doc called me and said plz come here in front of reception area as I need to talk to you and I said ok. Omg 😳I still can't forget the way she spoke to me. I was being literally embarrassed by her. You know guys, what she said u have kid home she has covid kinda symptoms even u didn't tell in reception and also u booked appointment for your flu symptoms than how come you came here. You should stay home and isolate yourself. The exact word she said."my dear you are young you should not have many symptoms of covid and nothing can happen to you but yes you can transfer to me and I may die because I am old" i was literally shocked and embarrassed as people in reception area was watching over me. I understand world is fighting with corona but apart from covid their are a lot of more issues as well which we are facing so being a doc how can she say such things. Even I am mother I am also worried for my kid but when during these past days nhs didn't asked me to do covid test how can she can tell me I will transfer her covid..this behavior is not acceptable at all. Her face was full of anger and upset becoz I went their without doing covid test which I was absolutely unaware becoz no one from nhs or gp asked me to do so. Guys I can't tell you how embarrassing moment it was for me...it's late night I am writing this review becoz I cudnt stop myself to share with you all as you should be aware. And i can't sleep just becoz the day i had been through today. I came back home and on the way my eyes were full of tears as I was feeling guilty for nt doing covid test and embarrassed by the doctor.totally disappointed 😞 and dipressed.
