About: Enhanced Care / Community Respiratory Care

(as the patient),

After not being out and mixing with people for a long time I was very nervous going to Mullinure hospital for an appointment. A respiratory nurse met me at the door and immediately put me at ease, she was so friendly and such a lovely person. I was treated so well I could of stayed there all day. Everything was explained to me so I understood. These nurses are fantastic. I had already met a few of them in South Tyrone hospital a few years ago and they all are a credit to the nhs it's a pity the they don't get the recognition they deserve. Nurses in general do a fantastic job and it's about time they got the pay they deserve.   God bless them all and Thank your for making my visit so comforting.

I am the service lead for the community respiratory team in the Southern Trust.

Thank you for your lovely feedback about the team and in particular the respiratory nurse in Mullinure, who met you at the door was so friendly and put you at ease. I am delighted everything was explained to you so you understood.

It has been a very difficult time recently and I understand you being so nervous going to your appt after not being out and mixing with people for a long time. It is good to know the team made your visit so comforting.

I fully support the deserved recognition for these staff and they are a very dedicated team.
