About: Ayrshire Central Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I am suffering with rheumatoid arthritis and finally got an appointment about 6 months ago. I got an injection which greatly reduced the pain but have not been contacted since. No follow up whatsoever! Pain got so bad That I eventually had to go private and received another injection which helped but not for as long. Am waiting with bated breath for clinic to contact me for some form of follow up and treatment. Feeling totally abandoned! Recognise that Covid is affecting everything but would like to know how long the wait is going to be.
