Had my swab at The COVID 19 testing centre NDDH, the staff were fabulous very reassuring and helpful after having an awful experience with the COVID testing team on the phone from Exeter. The female nurse I saw was so understanding and listened to my unfortunate story about my troubles with the Exeter lady and how anxious this had made me feel. She put my mind at ease and reassured me that my appt would still go ahead and I had nothing to worry about. 

If I had to go to Exeter to have had the swab it would have been a 80-100 mile round trip and to be able to have this test at Barnstaple meant it was a 2 minute journey and a fabulous service with caring staff.

Very very happy with the service.

Nothing needs to change runs smoothly and staff appear knowledgeable and helpful.

My name is Lisa Moore and I am the Clinical Lead at the NDDH, COVID Testing Cell.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback about the service that we are currently providing to our patients. Our team were able to support you as we have an agreement with the other hospitals in the South West, where we have agreed to test our local patients who are actually being treated at the other peninsula hospitals. The agreement is called Reciprocal Agreement and it is working really well for our patients.

I have advised the team who were on duty about your lovely feedback as it is great for morale for the team to know that they are appreciated. I am also glad to hear that this process saved you valuable time and fuel.
