About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I was admitted to the SATA unit in the early hours of Thursday morning, with a positive covid test, and poor oxygen saturation, and have been in here on oxygen for the past 4 days.

The care I have received has been absolutely first class - everyone from the paramedics who brought me in, the porters who took me too and from x-ray, the doctors and the ward staff have been amazing - friendly, very informative, supportive, and caring - I couldn’t ask for better.

The food has been good - not that I can taste it, but it is hot and well presented, and seems well made - and appears to be cooked from scratch, with care and attention - just what a poorly patient needs - good, nutritious, tasty (when you have a sense of taste - lol) food!

What caught my eye straight away in your comment was:

Thank you so much for using Care Opinion to share your experience whilst in our SATA unit. You words, and the fact that you acknowledged so many members of our team speaks volumes. I will ensure to share with "all involved". This will be displayed with pride in SATA as testament to the incredible role every single staff member plays. Agnes is our Senior Charge Nurse and will be truly chuffed to bits upon seeing this. If you see her with an even bigger smile, you'll know she has seen this.

I wish you a speedy recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to give such positive feedback.
