I phoned and reported repairs that where needing done to my wheelchair (footplate had fallen apart and also a rip on armrest) that was on 13th April. I was told someone would phone with an appointment.
I called again on the 28th only to be told they were waiting on a part coming in. I explained that I had a trauma sore on my foot and had to get the nurse to dress it.
I then had to called again on 11th May and once again told the were waiting on a part. I asked which part they were waiting on an was told it was the armrest. I then ask them to just do the repair to the footplates. I then got an appointment for Monday the 17th May. All in I waited 5weeks on this repair being done. I find this an unreasonable and unacceptable length of time for a much needed repair to be carried out.
"An unreasonable length of time for a much needed repair"
