"My midwife"

I would like to say a massive thank you to the midwife Valerie who delivered my daughter. I presented in the early hours and was told downstairs was busy to go up to 2 west MLU to be assessed. Upstairs I was greeted by Valerie with a friendly face (even behind the mask) She had me at ease in seconds. She gave me options to help with the pain and even had me laugh in the throws of labour. Valerie then delivered my baby,  she calmed me down when I thought I couldn't continue, she spoke softly and encouraged me at every wobble. For the duration of her shift she checked on us, made me feel nothing was too much bother and honestly she is an absolute diamond... I am so happy with all the treatment received from Valerie. She is a such a blessing to Craigavon
