I am so disappointed that, having had my scan on my stomach, not a word have I heard back from the surgeon or his registrars about a decision to actually do this operation requested numerous times to numerous doctors.
Scan was done in March 2021. And yes of course we must make allowances due to the pandemic. But I have to ask, what about the people out here who are suffering from other conditions?
I also realise that the sound of a hiatus hernia may for some, be symptom free. But for others like myself the pain is horrendous. I cant eat, can't swallow, awful reflux for which the drugs being administered are really not good for anyone and can cause bone fractures. One of which I had last year. A hip replacement too while on these meds.
I just want to know when you would call me to discuss this operation as my scan was done at Newham general in March. I just want to know what the intention of the surgeon is. Then I can move on.
Even if it's no, can't do it. Then I can go elsewhere. My GP has asked the hospital to refer me on but no. A short phone consultation, a scan and now nothing.
