"Attitude of the staff is disgusting"

About: The James Cook University Hospital

I called 111 for advice before attending a&e I was told because I was struggling to breathe and suffering from heart palpitations that they were going to send an emergency ambulance. I advised my partner could bring me. At arrival I was sent to see a nurse. I proceeded to tell her I had been suffering with side affects from the covid vaccine all day and before I could finish my sentence she said 'well you know, everyone has' and said it with an attitude, I then proceeded to tell her about the palpitations and breathing she then made me feel like I was wasting her time by saying 'do you think you've just been panicked by your side affects.' I was then sent to the main waiting room and after 1 and a half hours I went to the desk and asked how much longer I would be waiting to be told the waiting time was 3 hours, I told the receptionist what I was in for and her reply was 'well you're obviously OK now because they've sent you to the waiting room' I told her the palpitations had eased and my breathing was improving so I wasn't going to sit and wait, her attitude was disgusting towards me. There was also an elderly gentleman with a severe head injury waiting the same amount of time as me and he 2as sat shaking in his wheelchair. The level of care from this department was disgusting! Considering I was told they were going to send an ambulance and then make me wait 3 hours in the waiting room, makes no sense. Last time I will be attending James Cook a&e and be it on their head if something serious happens to me! Think the staff need to scrub up on their people skills or find a new job! Disgusted and disappointed to say the least.
