About: Croydon University Hospital

My appointment was with the Ultrasound Dept. for a guided aspiration. I was quite nervous but wanted to say thank you for such a positive experience.

The lady who met me in the waiting area introduced herself and immediately put me at ease, and advised who else would be with us for the procedure.

Everything was explained clearly so I knew what to expect and when and they made time to reassure me throughout, which I really appreciated.

An invasive procedure in the side of my face but the discomfort was minimal and after removing the plaster, I could barely see a mark.

It's an anxious time generally with this sort of test but the welcoming, friendly, reassuring and highly professional service

I received made it much easier. Thank you again.
