"Awful"

On calling to ask for an appointment today we were told the GP is too busy to speak with us and has seemingly been too busy for the last few weeks. Instead we are having to go through a receptionist who has NO medical experience in order to get medication. The receptionists are plucking out random medical conditions and asking if that is what we are calling for, then we are told someone will call back. That person goes off to spea to a GP, calls back, then has to speak to the GP again, then calls us back again. This is not a safe way to run a GP surgery and no GP should tell a patient that they are too busy to speak to a patient, they won't even offer an appointment or phone consultation. This is not safe or appropriate.
