I’ve always had good service from the team at the surgery .Both flu & Covid clinics well run and thank you . However I feel that there is too much reliance on Phone consultations when there are times a patient would benefit from a face to face appointment . Pre Covid it was a patients choice whether they saw a GP , now it’s the GPS decision about who is allowed over the drawbridge . I understand the necessity to keep everyone safe and that NHS staff are doing their best but could we get back to something easier for patients . Can I ask that Drs urge NHS England to relax some restrictions to allow more surgery visits . After suffering severe pain constantly for more than 3weeks and various medications not doing much to help , I am , sorry to say this ,losing confidence in a system where I virtually have to beg for an appointment .
