"Shibashi Qigong classes"

About: Cancer Services / Living With & Beyond Cancer (Fern Centre)

(as a service user),

This is about the fourth class I have attended online with Warren who explains everything so well as you go along, both verbally and by mirroring the moves. These sessions really are helping my many conditions, ME/CFS/ Fibromyalgia, arthritis plus after effects of breast cancer. Warren explains how each move helps each part of the body and you experience a freedom and lightness at the end of the session, which seems to go so quickly but you have been moving fluidly the whole time. I have not been able to do 'normal' exercise for many years now so feel rejuvenated with these sessions.

Good morning Frisbee,

Thank you for your feedback on your experience of the virtual Shibashi Gigong tai chi classes. I am so pleased that you have found it beneficial for your multiple health conditions and that it has kick-started a return to exercise for you. Warren is an amazing teacher and he is so aware of the varying abilities within his classes. I hope that you will continue to 'tune in' on a Tuesday morning, if we can be of any further help at the Fern Centre, please give us a call 01271 311855.

Best wishes Holly
