"Mental Health support for AutisitcTeens"

About: Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust / Child and adolescent mental health

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had a major mental health incident which resulted in emergency hospitalisation. CRISIS team got involved, was handed over to George Turle House CAMHS, two meetings have taken place -not one single session of support for my daughter in 11 weeks, she was an emergency referral.

I can not email - because email addresses are not given out - it's up to the professionals if they give out their work email addresses. I have never know communication policies like it. I have asked for a Subject Assess Request but given a wrong telephone number with an extension that doesn't exist. I am traumatised by what has happened to my daughter but strong enough to know that this service is not fit for purpose!

Dear Harvey, it is unclear whether your concerns relate to Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) that support young people with their mental health. KMPT do not provide children's mental health services, however our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0800 783 9972 (East Kent) or 0800 587 6757 (West Kent and Medway) can offer you more support so please get in touch if they can help.
