(as a service user),

I was in the department for a transoesophageal echo. The staff put me at ease straight away. I was given excellent care and attention. My wife appreciated the telephone call as soon procedure was over.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post about the care you received whilst in the Cardiology Department. I recognise that an investigation like transoesophageal echo can be daunting not just for you, the patient but also for our families. I am also delighted to hear how your wife was appreciative of the telephone call. A simple yet powerful intervention to relieve worry.. I will ensure the Team involved are informed.
