"Appointments and contact"

About: Village Medical Centre

(as the patient),

Been trying now for over two weeks to arrange an appointment to see the doctor after leaving hospital. No joy. I find this service disgusting, they all seem to blame the current situation. But what does it take to call back. The receptionists always ask me why do I want to see the doctor, surely it’s not up to them to discuss any medical issues. Just to book an appointment.

We are truly sorry that you have been having difficulty in getting through to the surgery. The calls are being answered within 90 seconds of calling, on average we are having up to a 1000 calls a day.

If any calls are dropped by the staff then we have a reporting portal so that you can be called back.

If you require an appointment you can email the practice on villagemedicalcentre158a@nhs.net and one of the staff can call you.

We have been authorised by GP's to ask the problem so that patients are booked into the correct clinics, if you do not wish to disclose then just say personal.

Thank you for comment and we are always trying to improve our service
