About: St Mary's NHS Treatment Centre (Portsmouth)

After being seen (on a Saturday) for a dislocated finger for which I have no issues with treatment, was asked to return the following Saturday for a review. Was advised that I would not need to wait on a return for a review.

On arriving today, told reviews are only within 7 days (they did book me in) but then told I would be joining the queue with all the new patients.

In terms of managing expectations and the patient experience this is totally unacceptable. In the case of a new injury you expect to be in a queue to be seen but not when you have been asked to return for a review.
