"Absolute shambolic service"

Was referred for abdo scan. Triaged by DH who decided I should have pelvic scan? I queried this. Was told referer needed to send more info...she did. DH still insisted on pelvic scan. Phoned DH a second time...they could not take the referers word for it..although that person had seen me but someone who had not examined me was still adamant I needed a pelvic scan. I asked what I needed to do to get a scan of the area where I had the pain..was told to send more info..Referer did this...still no joy. DH could not tell me what scan I would be having. So I was not sure how to prepare for it ..you need to do different things for the 2 scans...phoned DH ..no help was told to prepare for both so not eat and not drink much but to make sure I had a full bladder...? Who knows what is going to happen on Monday when I go for the scan....very distressing . Hope I never have to go through anything like this again!
