"Bloods"

About: York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

(as a service user),

No service provision on a weekend for blood taking or a late night. I work for a corpy that isn’t very friendly to its staff so getting time to go for bloods in the week is not possible. The service times for all the options is very narrow. Basically 8-5. I set off for work at 6: 30 and get back just before 7 during the week. So the service availability to me is none existent. Would it be possible to look at one site having a late opening or weekend opening? im sure there would be many like me who would use such a service.

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care (or that of a loved one), please try and discuss your concerns early on with a member of staff who is caring for you. Often they can resolve the issue quickly for you or provide you with information or advice to help you decide what to do.

If your concerns cannot be discussed with a member of staff caring for you or you feel more comfortable discussing your concerns with someone not involved directly in your care you can contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service.
