"Terrible no support "

About: Constable Country Rural Medical Practice

I had already been given reviews and opinions of this surgery prior to moving to the area many giving concerning views of the poor support and help provided within this practice, having moved to the area we had no choice but to register with this practice it was concerning and worrying but we felt we needed to see how we got on with the practice and the GP’s within it to then hopefully gain our own opinion. we have family and friends live in the area and equally the reputation of some, but not all the Staff and management have not been welcoming or supportive with health issues raised, the bad reputation of the practice within the area was somewhat worrying, we have found it difficult to gain help with the practice it is impossible to raise complaints with them or for complaints to be taken seriously, no support given from management when complaints raised either, very one sided and against the patient when complaining, it would appear they do not acknowledge any wrong doings only very quick point out if you disagree with anything they raise they redeem it as being rude and hostile ? practice manager does not remain impartial when raising complaints and very quick to support staff but not the patient, I found him very rude arrogant and certainly shows no professionalism, especially when not aware of full facts in any complaint raised. Disappointing and worrying having had such a great support from our previous practice where we lived, whom helped with every health issue raised and given full support for many years, with never any need to complain or raise any issues in over 25 years sadly this practice fails to do this and fails to listen to patients needs. Little or no support given to patients with long term Chronic conditions, we acknowledge this has been a difficult year with Covid but I feel it has been used many times by this practice as an excuse for not trying to find support with patients who need help and support with outside clinics or ongoing help with health needs, I have been waiting over a year to get support for a long term chronic health condition every time I have raised this I feel I am just ignored

I would like to express that reception staff and nurses and nurse practitioners whom we have met face to face and via telephone calls have been outstanding they are more than helpful and cannot fault their part in the surgery They go above and beyond to help support and find the best solutions when necessary.

Sadly we feel we have no choice but to change practice as soon as possible and would not recommend this surgery to anyone moving to the areas that CCMP cover, a very disappointing GP surgery
