About: Pinderfields General Hospital

I had to attend the A&E department in March and had a positive experience. I was referred to the surgeons and had to have an ultrasound and a colonoscopy which were uneventful and I was told I would receive a phone call with the results.

However, It has been 9 weeks and I still haven’t received my results from my colonoscopy, I have enquired with my GP who haven’t received my results either. I have also rang the consultants secretary and was told I would receive a call the next day with my results, however I still have yet to receive this.

I have another appointment this week where my treatment depends on the results but am still chasing my results with no avail, and it will now inevitably affect my treatment from another service.

Overall great hospital but communication of results is poor which isn’t good when you are anxious about the results already.
