"Wonderful treatment and care"

I was lucky enough to be signposted to the GP Purely Hub by NHS 111. I had an infection in the incision site post surgery. Stressed and in a lot of pain, I was met by the most wonderful nurse who then treated me with kindness, empathy, was gentle and yet thorough in explaining what was wrong and how she would help me out medically. She thoroughly cleaned the wound, packed and dressed it and then prescribed me antibiotics. Personalised care was then encouraged as she invited me to return a few days later so that monitoring could be allowed. She even walked me to the door and generously offered to carry my bag for me. The little things truly help. I returned yesterday and saw another nurse - again a real Angel - gentle and compassionate and putting my needs and wellbeing first. I now am under their care, returning every 2 days until the site is healthy once more. And I feel lucky that I have found this great team as I trust them with my treatment and care and know they will ultimately have me healed. I am going to go as far as saying this is the best care and treatment I have ever experienced and I am grateful, thankful and encouraged that professionals like this exist in our wonderful healthcare system.
