"The staff quickly put me at ease"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency Trauma & Orthopaedics / Major Trauma Unit

(as the patient),

I stayed in the Major Trauma unit to recover from a traffic accident that happened me as a pedestrian.

I was transferred here from my local hospital (Causeway Coleraine) for a CT and spent a week on the ward.

Initially I was very nervous as I was unsure how much damage had happened to me and how well if at all that I would heal.

But the staff quickly put me at ease and took a large interest in my life and my recovery.
