"Lack of information and poor attitude"

While I am fully aware that staff are over stretched during the pandemic (I am a Care Manager) The staff on MAU did not despite numerous reports acknowledge my fathers dementia continually speaking to him rather than his next of kin. The receptionist was rude and generally unhelpful with an incredibly poor attitude, concerning that should someone less sure of the system been spoken to in the way she spoke to my family they would have been too intimidated to call again for information on their loved one, compassion is after all key and not reserved only for the patient.
