"Dreadful communication "

Have made mistakes in my meds and failed to tell me I needed a review of my tramadol . Trying to sort this is intensely frustrating phoning the surgery makes you lose the will to live. In the reviews it says the average wait to get through is 2-3 mins . Find that hard to believe as only once have I got response that quickly. Usually takes around ten minutes at least, half an hour if you are calling for an appointment first thing, by which time you get the last available appointment if you are lucky. If you have a query about your meds or treatment the operator t Akes a message and someone might get back to you if you are lucky. You never can talk to anyone apart from the operators who are just message takers. It's nigh on impossible to deal with the same doctor each time which is really important if you have a number of complex medical conditions. You give feedback to the operators and they get really snooty and imply you should count yourself lucky they even answer the phone. This was a problem well before covid but they keep using that as an excuse for poor service and communication. They have no concept of patient centred care it's run like a factory, and we are just numbers to be processed.
