"Can't thank them enough at Minor Injuries"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I fell off and landed on a metal ladder, resulting in a deep wound to my calf. Yvonne and Rod from the minor injuries clinic looked after me and cleaned/stitched/bandaged my wound. It was possible that I needed an op to clean/stitch the wound so Yvonne discussed with a Senior Consultant to ensure I got the best care.

During the wait, Yvonne and Rob kept me upbeat and calm. Fabulous patient care, I can't thank them enough, especially as no loved ones were allowed in with me.

Dear mayjb87

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback around your recent attendance at University Hospital Monklands. It is wonderful to hear of the great care and treatment you received whilst you were being assessed in the Minor Injuries Unit. It will be my pleasure to share your lovely post with the Minor Injuries Team, especially Yvonne and Rod who you mentioned specifically for their professionalism and compassion whilst you were awaiting an update regarding your treatment.

I hope you are now recuperating at home and feeling better.

Thanks again for sharing.

Lesley
