(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was admitted to Ward 2C for treatment of a UTI, obviously we were beside ourselves with her being only a few weeks old but all the team in 2C were excellent.

I especially want to thank our nurse Nicki, such a caring person who was just so down to earth. I'm sure you were sick of my life story by the end of your shifts but you were so friendly and honestly felt like a friend at an anxious time.

We hope to not see you again but wish you all well x

What a lovely post and thank you so very much for sharing you and your wee daughter's experience of care with us.

What a terrifying time this must have been, especially with her being so young. We were delighted to read that the staff had been supportive and caring towards you.

We can guarantee we never tire of listening to children and family stories, it's part of the reason why we all love our varied roles across the hospital. No single day is ever the same, so thank you so much for sharing and caring with us - it will have been very appreciated.

Our Senior Management team have already been in touch with 2C and with Nikki to pass on your thanks along with their own, we really are very fortunate to work with such a great team.

In the nicest possible way, we hope not to see you again soon, but if we do, you will be so very welcome back.

Hope your wee girl is now doing much better at home.
