(as the patient),

When my doctor, Hugh, put my name forward for the diabetes course COVID was never heard of so the course would have been in a room with us all there, so zoom was used to get the message over. I was a bit nervous about it at first but I got on ok I have to give praise to Oisin for her putting a us at ease and giving us the info required to keep us on the right road when. I started The course I wasn’t doing much exercise or weight watching now I’m walking 5 miles a day and have lost nearly 2 stone so a big thank you from me as for the course I have enjoyed it and the other peoples input as I don’t talk much my self and I hope every one is well and safe so keep up the good work Oisin Bye for now

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the Diabetes Prevention Programme in the Southern Health and Social Services Trust. I am delighted that you are enjoying the Diabetes prevention programme and it that it has provided you with the information and tools needed to make changes to your lifestyle and reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Its great to hear how much progress you have made already.The service has under gone some changes in the last number of months due to Covid pandemic and has been adapted to an online service using ZOOM instead of a face to face group setting. We are happy to hear that this format works and you are finding the course helpful. Although the group cant meet in person I am glad to hear you still get the group support online.

I have shared this feedback with Oisin wider Diabetes Prevention and they are delighted with this feedback
